If we look at the word of Luke chapter 23, Jesus is nailed to the cross on the charge of being the King of the Jews. The king who ruled Judea was the emperor of Rome, and since Jesus called Himself the King of the Jews, they put Jesus to death on that charge. But Jesus was the King of all mankind. Today I want to consider with you the Lord’s word to the two thieves hanged on either side of Jesus, that is, the word by which one thief was saved and the other thief was not saved.
